I ordered take out from their site using Toast. The ordering process was easy. We ordered catfish fillets with fries and shrimp. The order was ready as soon as I arrived. It was my first time and I liked the atmosphere. We'll have to check it out to watch some sports. They have plenty of TVs and a full bar.
The food was hot and delicious. Definitely would like to try some more food on their menu.

Great food, a bit pricey but A LOT of food. My hubby had ox tails on a potatoe with greens, OMG so good. Ox Tails are not always available so check first. I just appetizer of the tater cakes or something like that. Really good, like a loaded baked potatoe fried up. The ox tails and potatoe, he ate on for 3 days. You could easily share it, that was the large, you could share the small even with a bit appetite.

We really enjoyed this place!! We went here for brunch, and it was absolutely delicious. We had the Belgian waffle and chicken and waffle. The Belgian waffle with chocolate sauce was absolutely made to perfection. The chicken was fried super crunchy and was so good!! I ate it slowly because I wanted to savor every bite. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is very laid back and casual, and there are TVs on every wall. It was a very hot summer day when we came here and their A/C was amazing - we weren’t freezing like other restaurants, we were comfortable. We will definitely be coming back here!

This place was awesome. Killer baked potatoes with lots of butter and cheese and awesome toppings. My friend and I both were going to order larges until they should use the platter on the wall for a large. OMG 😲, it was huge. We both got smalls that were still a ton of goodness. She got one with Mac and cheese and then Chopped Beef on top with a really good bbq sauce on it. I got tbe same, except I got two ribs on mine instead of Chopped Beef. We ordered appetizers early, but they came out with our main order as well. The fried Mac and cheese bites were delicious and the queso was good. Oh, they have a bar, and there are a lot of tvs on the wall for sports.
It was a loud place but fun. The margaritas were killer. We had 3 each. It was a great night out with my friend.

Taterque on a Sunday night was my first time visiting, and it left a lasting impression! Diamond, my server, suggested the hot honey and lemon pepper buffalo wings…let me tell you, I was in heaven after tasting them… & It’s a Black-owned establishment with amazing owners.
If you haven’t tried Taterque yet, Sunday night is the perfect time! They offer delicious food, drinks, hookah, and great music for an unforgettable experience.

My family & I couldn’t stop eating before I could take a picture. Great vibes, music was great, drinks were good, and the food was great. I loved the prices, and the wings are big. I’m from Columbus,OH and all are wings are big like this, and dare I say; TarterQue wings are better.

I checked off another place I have wanted to visit for about a year - Tater Que.
There is a quote that says, "Good things come to those who wait." Actually, the quote says, " good things come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle."
So thank you to y'all hustlers who left me some of the good food served at Tater Que. Let's get to it.
I went for wings on a Wednesday, because owner Bobby Mack told me to do it. I ordered 10 wings, five with their Spicy Buffalo Sauce and five without sauce so I could try their Hot Honey, Lemon Pepper Ranch and Spicy BBQ sauces.
The wings are huge, both the flats and drums. They are also juicy. Most importantly, they were cooked perfectly. A major pet peeve of mine are large wings that are not cooked enough. If I bite in, and see undercooked meat, I throw it right in the trash can.
Tater Que wings are breaded and deep fried. The breading is light, but still sticks to the wing. Perfect amount of sauce. For the five wings with no sauce, I liked the Spicy BBQ best, followed by the Hot Honey. I had one wing with the Louisiana Hot Sauce on the table. I love that tang.
I tried a small order of the Fab 5 Mac & Cheese. While it had nothing to do with the Michigan Bball team, it did have five cheeses perfectly blended together in a creamy sauce. I could have done large order of that instead of the small (which is still perfect as a side).
I am not sure how you go to a restaurant called Tater Que and don't try a Spud with BBQ on top. I decided to try one of their Specialty Spuds, the Alamo. I got the Junior size. The potato and toppings had to weigh five pounds. I can't even image what size of potato goes into the large. Yikes. So the Alamo is topped with smoked brisket, BBQ baked beans, smoked bacon, sour cream, chives and BBQ sauce ( I chose the spicy). Oh yeah, the spud is first slathered in butter before all that is stacked on top. It was a masterpiece, and tasted incredible! No, I did not e

Food was good. I only had the Mac and Cheese Tator bites, honey butter cornbread, and honey butter biscuit. The Mac and Cheese Tator bites were perfect. More Mac and Cheese than Tator totes but the Tator tot gave it stability. The cheese melted on top also was good. The biscuit and cornbread were coated in the butter. It was a little overpowering on the cornbread, but the cornbread was still moist and good. The biscuit was a good buttermilk biscuit and even though they dumped butter in it, it didn't really absorb too much, but you could wipe up the excess butter.
I went on Saturday just before 3pm and they were still service brunch. I think there was 2 or 3 parties going on and there wasn't much room, and another party of 12 came in. Surprisingly busy for that time of day. Parking was full in front but there was some behind.
The other people eating brunch and lunch seemed to have very large portions. One guy had the oxe tale dish and I couldn't imagine even eating half of that.
